Since there are no new LOST episodes till January and none of my other 20 or so regularly viewed shows are coming back until at least September, I'm thinking about getting caught up on some other television shows like Alias, 24, Weeds and The Tudors this summer. I'm considering opening a Netflix account because it would be A LOT cheaper to go that route rather than buying the DVDs or even renting them at _______________(insert the name of large video rental store here). I'm a bit skeptical of joining Netflix, though. A good friend of mine cancelled his account because he kept getting scratched DVDs that were simply unwatchable.So do you have a Netflix account? What has your experience been like? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I highly recommend Netflix. I'm about to cancel my account - but only because I just don't have time to keep up with it right now. But if you're the type of person that watches a movie a week - or every couple of weeks, then it's awesome and affordable.
They also sell you pre-viewed movies really cheap on their website.
Or, if you don't want to get into a membership thing, you can rent movies (and I think TV shows) off of iTunes now.
I LOVE Netflix and have nothing but positive things to say about them! Our account has been suspended due to our lack of time to watch stuff, but now that summer is here we may reactivate again too.
In the many, many, many discs we've gotten from them, I have only once gotten one that wouldn't play. I felt like that happened to me more from the chain place around the corner than it did with Netflix.
They have a warehouse in Louisville, so turnaround time is super-fast. If you go with the 3 at a time route, you can have a disc to watch everynight because by the time you're done with the third, there's a new one back already!
I've been a subscriber of Netflix since 2004 and have only had one movie delivered that didn't work...and it was shattered to pieces.
Netflix has almost every DVD ever published available and you get them almost the next day.
On top of that, you are able to stream over 10,000 movies straight from their website (PC users only..I think).
I highly recommend Netflix.
